So here is an actual real story: Back in the 90s me and my brother decided to buy a new hard drive for the computer (Yes, back in the day, it was called "the" computer because there was only one computer in the house. The idea of each member of the family having their own computer was ridiculous, what are we, Bill Gates?!). Anyway, the computer only had 256MB of storage. Let me run that number by you again because you've probably read that as 250 gigabytes. No, we're talking megabytes here, the entire computer had just 256 megabytes of total storage so we decided to ask our parents for money because we wanted the all-new, just-released, unbelievably huge 1-gigabyte hard drive!

I remember bringing the hard drive home and unboxing it, I swear it was glowing in a Golden light. I remember telling my brother "You realize this is probably the last hard drive we Will ever need?" thinking we Will never fill up a whole gigabyte of storage.
